Why can't I EVER include everything I want to say the first time out?

My critique groups runs a live chat we call a Bat-B-Q when someone needs help with a WIP (work in progress). That person, and their book, is put in the hot seat and analyzed to DEATH with booze, wine, whatever.

You CANNOT beat these live chats for energy, synergy,or any other ergy you can think of. You name the problem, we've solved it. Of course, we all know and trust each other not to steal ideas...

Just puttin' it out there.

It's a great idea, Unk. Kinda circles back to the beginning when I was first getting to know you guys.

I had the benefit of a professional forum when I was learning to write, and I don't know if I'd be published today without it. I like to think I'm smart. Everyone does. But when the pros spill their guts in an interactive forum as opposed to a book, you just learn so much more.

I think people are primed to learn stuff from hearing and acting, as opposed to dry reading. It's in our genes to learn through action. I'd like to give back.

Great idea. If there's a convo where you think I could contribute, give me a holler. I'm online most nights.

I had that script laying around for quite a while and I was logging into the Scribosphere every couple of days trying to help others out a little here and there and I kind of miss it so I figured why not throw it up here.

I didn't want to mention it... I'd rather make it a "catch me if you can" type of thing.
