My third Flukey Friday…

So I’ve been working on the rewrite for a few hours now… LOL. More like twenty. I had another buffalo salami sammich and washed it down with some ruby red grapefruit juice.
Ahhh.
Anyway, during a much needed blog-perusal break, I came across Michael Patrick Sullivan’s Red Right Hand’s current blog post:
Okay, Michael says ONE PAGE — no setup — no explanation.
I can live with that…
Can you?

I won’t explain anything but let me say that this was a spec that I totally DROPPED to persue the current rewrite of the spec I sold so it was worth it. I knew I had a winner so everything went on hold to write it.
I haven’t read ANY of this in about a year… WOW. I want to rewrite it right now. LOL.
You can probably guess what happens next… OR CAN YOU?
As always, comments welcome. I don’t embarrass easily. Gimme all you got.

of course I know what happens next… quiche for everyone!
Can anybody tell me how to do this on a Mac?
In other words, I’m in! As soon as I figure out how to do it.
(Email me via my website: http://patriciaburroughs.com.)
MovieQuill,
I telegraphed it?
Pooks,
Emailing you now.

Thanks, Unk.
As for your first page — at least she’s not wearing high heels….
Thanks for the info. I’m in it too.
The raw egg thing… it should gross me out, but it’s making me hungry. Can you be hungry and grossed out at the same time?
Question is, what did it make you hungry FOR?
Souls. Definitely souls.
Cracking a raw egg now… MMMM.
Now if I can just wait till dark to break into a house…

Nice one UNK.
For me it’s never Flukey Friday. Only Freaky Friday.
Oh, and I’m in on this one page thing.

Or, you know…don’t.
I know what happens next. The egg was just a metaphor for the unborn child she was “tucking in” with a coat hanger. She is cursed with eternal pregnancy, but hates kids. Until Van Damme shows up in the 4th act and tells her she’s really in a computer simulated world crafted by a secret Mayan society to save the rainforest and battle Native Americans in Worlds of Warcraft.
Am I close?
Spat…
Oh so close… LOL.

I like the imagery.
My guess: just as the mysterious masked killer is about to murder Susie in her bed, he will be struck down with an acute case of salmonella.
Just a guess.
Guess he’s on a high-protein diet for all the killing he has to do :-)
Nice page Unk
